Our black carrot extract comes straight from real black carrots. BEAR uses a tiny amount in some of our Strawberry and Raspberry FRUIT YOYOS, PAWS, SPLITS, TREASURES, GIANTS and SOURS. The natural pigments in black carrots,  called anthocyanins, give them their deep colour, which helps add a touch of natural colour to these snacks.

Yes, BEAR snacks are vegan-friendly.

How to Play

1. Keep your cards facing down.

2. Choose the category you want to play.

3. Flip your top card.

4. The player with the highest score wins that round and takes the cards.

5. The player who collects all the cards… WINS!

All used ingredients can be found in nature, so no synthetic based ingredients are used. All BEAR products are made with REAL fruit. 

Our products are just fruit and veg, and therefore contain no nuts whatsoever. They are packed in a sealed ‘BEAR pod’ at our packing plant. This means that there’s no risk of nut cross-contamination in our products.

Yes, as our fruit snacks are just fruit & veg, they are gluten-free :).

We normally recommend our Fruit Yoyos for cubs aged 3-9 years old. However, we would recommend that grrrown up BEAR's supervise young cubs whilst they are consuming all of our products.

If there should be allergens in the product, these will be stated on pack as described by law. 

BEAR snacks are made with 100% fruit and no added sugar, we like to keep things simple and wild. If you have specific dietary needs, it’s always best to check with your GP (general practitioner) to see if BEAR is right for you.

Yes, all our fruit snacks are certified Kosher! Here at BEAR we want as many people to enjoy our products as possible which is why we worked really hard to get KLBD certified :).

It means BEAR doesnt adds sugar to our fruit snacks. Any sweetness you taste comes straight from the fruit itself — only the naturally occurring sugars found in the whole fruit we use. Nothing extra, nothing artificial. Just real fruit doing what fruit does best.

Cardboards

Our cardboard boxes are perfectly recyclable.

Where possible, we use recycled paper fibres in our multiboxes and transport boxes. By using recycled materials, we save trees!

Where we can’t use recycled material, we use FSC or SFI certified cardboard for our boxes. This means that the cardboard comes from sustainably managed forests, preserving biological diversity and benefiting the lives of local people and workers.

Wrappers

We have adapted BEAR wrappers from a non-recyclable paper-plastic material to an only-plastic material. As a consequence:

Now it’s technically recyclable and can be recycled in those countries with a plastic recycling stream.

We have reduced packaging by almost 20 tons on an annual basis

On top, the new packaging keeps the Fruit Rolls juicier for a longer time!

Until recently, the wrappers were made from a combination of paper and plastic. They had a nice paper feeling, but they could  not  be recycled, as the two materials were glued together, so we had to do something about this. The wrapper was altered from this paper-plastic laminate to a fully plastic material. Plastic, is that not worse? Well, not in this case! By changing the packaging toward a fully plastic material, it can be recycled in those countries where there is already a plastic recycling stream! The BEAR plastic is then used to make new plastic objects, such a garden benches, plastic pallets or car components.

Nowadays, so many products contain preservatives that we almost start to think that without preservatives, products cannot be kept for a long time. This is different with dried fruit. When we dry the fruit, a very large part of the water in the fruit evaporates. This water normally ensures that a product is no longer good over time, for example due to a fungus. Because the majority of the water has evaporated during the production process, the products themselves have a shelf life of a lot longer! Our ingredients are simple and pure and we are very proud of that! We don't like to hide things. BEAR is made with real fruit.

We pick fruit at its ripest, blend it with other tasty fruits, then gently dry it at a low temperature before cutting it into fun shapes. Simple and UNBEARABLY DELICIOUS.

Yes! We use the whole fruit, including the skins, to keep all that natural goodness. 🍎🍐
